Dara

Ludos Africa is the second volume of traditional games from Lemery Games, and this set, obviously, contains African games. Like the previous set, Ludos Asia, the games came in a nice sturdy box.

The first of the four games in the set is Dara, a traditional game from Nigeria. It is a positional game, where the aim is to create (horizontal or vertical) rows of three pieces, the completion of which then allows the removal of one of the opponent's pieces. This then continues until one of the players doesn't have enough pieces left to create a row, and has therefore lost the game.

The game once again comes in a small box ...

... which contains a nice little bag ...

... which contains the cloth board and wooden pieces.

As before, the design and production are top notch!
